Archers Men’s Basketball Set to Face No. 2 Seed Metropolitan in Region 16 Tournament

St. Louis Community College Men's Basketball is gearing up for a pivotal matchup in the Region 16 Tournament as they prepare to take on No. 2 seed Metropolitan Community College. The Archers are scheduled to tip off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, at Jefferson College.

This will mark the third meeting this season between STLCC and Metropolitan. The teams previously split their regular-season series, making Friday's contest a decisive rubber match with postseason implications on the line.

Head Coach Terry Collins acknowledged both the challenge and the opportunity ahead.

"Playing Metropolitan for the third time adds a new level of intensity to this matchup," Collins said. "We've seen each other's best, splitting the first two games, and our guys know what it will take to compete. We're preparing to meet the challenge head-on and play with purpose from start to finish."

The winner will advance to Region 16 final on Saturday at  4:00 p.m.
