STLCC Men’s Soccer Team Recognized by Board of Trustees for Historic Season and National Championship Appearance
St. Louis Community College proudly recognized the STLCC Men's Soccer team at the January 22 Board of Trustees Meeting in honor of their outstanding 2025 season and advancement to the NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Championship, held in Wichita, Kansas this past November.
Board President Rodney Gee and Chancellor Dr. Jeff Pittman congratulated the team for their exceptional performance, leadership, and representation of STLCC on the national stage. The team was represented at the meeting by Head Coach Ricardo Garza, Assistant Coach Matt McVey, and the following student‑athletes:

STLCC's run to the NJCAA DII Men's Soccer National Championship marks a significant achievement for the program, reflecting the dedication of the coaching staff, the commitment of the athletes, and the support of the College community.
The Board of Trustees expressed pride in the team's accomplishments and extended best wishes for continued success in the seasons ahead.
