The St. Louis Community College softball program wrapped up an impressive 2026 season, finishing with a 27–20 record and showcasing one of the most dynamic and aggressive offenses in recent program history.
The Archers produced a 311–280 scoring margin across 50 games, averaging 6.22 runs per game while piling up 435 hits and a team batting average of .317. Their offensive consistency was complemented by a strong team on-base percentage of .397 and an .810 OPS, emphasizing their ability to generate opportunities and convert them into runs.
Offensive Firepower Leads the Way
STLCC's lineup proved difficult to contain all season long, averaging 8.7 hits per game and driving in 270 RBIs (5.40 per game). Extra-base production remained a key factor, with the Archers recording 93 extra-base hits, including 69 doubles, 10 triples, and 14 home runs.
The team also displayed discipline at the plate, drawing 155 walks, while limiting strikeouts to just 4.18 per game, helping maintain constant pressure on opposing pitching staffs.
Aggressive on the Basepaths
Speed proved to be a defining element of the 2026 team. STLCC stole 157 bases on 171 attempts, good for an outstanding .918 success rate. Averaging over 3.1 stolen bases per game, the Archers consistently put themselves in scoring position and disrupted opposing defenses.
Pitching Delivers Quality Innings
In the circle, STLCC pitchers logged over 320 innings with a solid 3.91 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP. The staff recorded 27 wins, 19 complete games, and 5 shutouts, demonstrating resilience and durability throughout the season.
