Archers Show Grit and Determination in Road Battle Against Lincoln Land
The St. Louis Community College Archers faced a tough challenge on Wednesday, November 12, as they traveled to Lincoln Land Community College to take on the undefeated Loggers. Despite falling 88-41, the Archers demonstrated resilience and flashes of strong individual performances that signal growth and promise for the season ahead.
Lincoln Land entered the contest riding a four-game winning streak, and their experience showed early as they built a 24-8 lead after the first quarter. STLCC continued to battle throughout the game, refusing to back down against one of the region's top teams. By halftime, the Archers regrouped and came out determined to compete, showing improved ball movement and defensive intensity in the second half.
