Bio
Hunsue Park is entering his first season as the Head Volleyball Coach for the Archers women’s volleyball team in 2025. He joined the team on September 26, 2023. Over the past two seasons, Park has helped develop and coach four First Team All-Region and four Second Team All-Region players, demonstrating a strong commitment to athlete development and team performance.
Coaching Qualifications:
- Assistant Varsity Coach for Marquette High School boys' program since March 2020, guiding them to 71-47 record and a 2022 District Championship.
- Assistant Volleyball Coach at Lindenwood University in 2017, helping the team achieve a 20-13 record and coaching two First-Team All-MIAA selections and one Second-Team All-MIAA player.
- Five years of experience coaching boys and girls club volleyball with St. Louis High Performance (2017-2022).
- Head Volleyball Coach Nixa Junior High (2014)
- Student Assistant Coach and then as a Volunteer Coach for Missouri State Women’s Volleyball program for two seasons going 50-20, contributing to two second-place finishes in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and two NCAA Division I Tournament appearances.
Playing Experience:
- Played for Missouri State Men’s Club Volleyball team, finishing third in the Mid-West Plains Volleyball Conference and ninth at the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation.
- Played at Parkway South High School and for St. Louis High Performance, earning second-team all-conference honors and leading the Suburban West in assists.
Coaching Philosophy:
“Coaching is about finding a system that works for your players. Fun Fact:
Hunsue has a five-year-old Cavapoo dog.
